Miami defeated Boston in "TD Garden" with a score of 123:116 and took the lead in the Eastern Conference finals.
"Vrelina" opened the third series in a row with a victory away from home, becoming the fifth team in NBA history to do so.
The hosts were better in the first part of the game, leading at halftime (66:57), but Hit got back into the game thanks to a fantastic third period.
The team from Florida scored 46 points in the third quarter, which is a franchise record for the number of points given in a quarter in the playoffs.
Twelve differences were Miami's advantage when entering the last quarter (91:103), but the "Celts" trailed by two possessions with two and a half minutes to go (110:114).
However, Cody Martin and Jimmy Butler removed all doubts with two consecutive triples.
Butler again had a game to remember. He scored 35 points (12/25 from the field), grabbed five rebounds, dished out seven assists and had six steals.
"I play at an incredible level because my teammates allow me to do that. They don't limit my game, they trust me when I have the ball. I think that's what every player wants." said the Hit leader at the press conference after the match.
Bam Adebayo scored 20, while Cody Martin, Kyle Lauri, Gabe Vincent and Max Strus added 15 each.
For the Celtics, Jayson Tatum stood out with 30 points, Jaylen Brown finished the match with 22, Malcolm Brogdon scored 19, Robert Williams 14, Marcus Smart 13...
The second game is scheduled for the night between Friday and Saturday, starting at 02:30.
