Ognjen Čarapić has extended his contract, so he will play for the Podgorica basketball club next season as well. Čarapić has been in Podgorica since 2020.
"I am very satisfied and happy to continue cooperation with the basketball club Podgorica in the next season as well. I had the opportunity to see for myself that it is a great environment, a club that has excellent conditions and where every young player has a great opportunity to progress," he told the club's site Čarapić.
In the season that just ended, Podgorica played in the semifinals of the ABA 2 League, the quarterfinals of the First League playoffs, as well as the finals of the Montenegrin Cup, but Čarapić missed most of the season due to health problems. Nevertheless, despite this, the coaching staff believes in Baranin.
"After missing the season due to post-covid problems, I can say that those problems are behind me and that I feel really good. I have been training with full intensity for more than a month. I hope for a great season, the conditions at the club are phenomenal, so I expect good games and more better placement of the team," emphasized the playmaker.
In his career, Čarapić played for Budućnost, Mega, Burg and FMP.
