"I think it is a huge success that we are in the quarterfinals. As for France, we all know what kind of team it is, we know their qualities, but we also believe in us and our togetherness. Each of them has very good physical predispositions, but I think that is not the key. Basketball is played for 40 minutes. The team that wants to win more will win," said Leković.
The Budućnosti basketball player is 19 years old, she made her debut at a major competition in the senior competition.
"Honestly, I think that all the hard work so far has paid off. I was sure that it would come. There is a lot of room for improvement. When it comes to the European Championship, then it is a pleasure to play. I respect all players and teams, but I push my goal and my dreams ", said Marija Leković.
