The new Euroleague season starts on October 5, and already the first round will bring several derbies.
The strongest European club competition today announced the calendar for the next season, and in the first round, the most heated will be in Athens, where fierce rivals Panathinaikos and Olympiakos will meet.
And it won't be the only derby of the premier round, as several more will be played - such as Barcelona - Efes or Fenerbahce - Armani Milano.
When it comes to the region, Partizan and Crvena Zvezda will again play in the Euroleague, and their first "eternal derby" is already in the fifth round - the hosts will be "black and white". Interestingly, the first "el clasico" between Real Madrid and Barcelona will also be played in that round
Otherwise, at the start, Partizan will visit Maccabi, while Zvezda welcomes Asvel.
