That news was announced by Monaco, while "Basket news" states that nothing will most likely come of the new transfer bomb and the arrival of Nikola Mirotic.
"Monaco was in the running with teams that wanted Mirotic's signature, but at the moment, the transfer of the most sought-after free agent in Europe does not seem realistic," reported Basket News.
As for James, he did not use the NBA clause in the last year of his contract, so he will be part of the team of stars from Monte Carlo next season.
