Newcomers Milutin Đukanović, Dejlen Kunc, Danilo Ivanović, Nikola Žižić and Marko Kljajević appeared at the first gathering under the baton of the new coach Dragan Radović, and from the start there were also Filip Bošković, Viktor Vujisić, Nikola Ratknić, Lazar Vukčević, Ognjen Čarapić. , Danilo Lacmanović, Filip Andušić and Danilo Brnović.
"We know that the start of the new season in the ABA 2 league is on October 9, so we have enough time to prepare well. The goal is to first of all prepare well physically, divide the roles in the team, and then through as many control games as possible, we will be ready for the start new season," Radović told the club's website.

"In addition to the new members who signed in the previous period, we have a large number of players with many years of involvement in the club, and with the players who are finishing their junior training, we already have the backbone of the team. We will see by the beginning of the season whether the option for another reinforcement will open, but he is looking forward to that we already have a formed team," added Radović.
The first preparatory match Podgorica will play against SC Derby, while the new ABA 2 league season will open with a Montenegrin derby against Sutjeska.
"We have a match against SC Derby on August 29, then on September 5 we play against Jedinstvo, and from September 10 we will be in Zlatibor for a week and during that period we will play four matches. We have already arranged a control match against Borac from Čačak, so I believe that we will use those checks in the right way and are ready to face new obligations," concluded Radović.
