Bertans was injured on Sunday during the second quarter of the game against France, which Latvia won 88:86 in Jakarta.
With 20 points, Bertans was the team's best scorer in the first game of the tournament and the 109:70 victory against Lebanon.
Latvians are also expecting a derby against "flying" Canada today - it will be a clash for the first place in Group H.
