Basketball club Buducnost Voli organized "Blue Night" tonight, an event where the team for the upcoming season was presented, as well as new jerseys.
Bubućnost brought in Vladimir Mihailović, McKinley Wright, Colby Ross, Alerik Freeman, Fletcher Magee, Andrija Slavković, Andrija Grbović, Džakori Williams and Marvin Jones this summer. And before the reinforcements, the contract was signed by coach Petar Mijović, who succeeded Vladimir Jovanović at the end of last season. The contracts were extended by Aleksa Ilić and Marko Jagodić-Kuriža.
"Budućnost Voli has been the bearer of the development of Montenegrin and regional sports for decades and an important factor in the mission of strengthening good relations in the ABA region, a respectable competitor for high placements in regional competitions, a club dedicated to the development of local players, worthy of the top basketball scene," said club president Dragan tonight Bokan.
Bokan thanked everyone who supported the club in the previous 12 years since he was at the head of Budućnost.
"Our responsibility implies that we have an ear for questions of general interest and that we think about the future of our society, of our children. It is of great, essential importance to care for the social community through proper guidance of young people. Since we have been managing the club, over 1.200 children have passed through our school basketball, and the increase in interest in practicing this skill is obvious. Basketball players have become idols again, as in a more idyllic time, and their success is a reason for joy and motivation to go towards the goal by investing effort and time. Exactly those goals, good intentions, honestly friendship and the desire to help our Future, apart from being my motivation to take responsibility for the club at a critical moment, also brought together the other members of the Management Board. We are all united by the mission and determination to jointly invest time and money for the benefit of our Future," he said. is Bokan.
Buducnost is the host of the ABA Supercup, which will be played in "Morača" from September 18 to 20.
"I wish the members of the team and the professional staff a successful season, a knightly fight, great results, baskets and actions that will be remembered and that will be recounted for a long time. I wish you a full hall, support both when you win and when you lose, and cheering at the top of your lungs. And the best a basketball player won't win if he doesn't have a strong team around him. And the best businessman, director or manager won't be successful if he doesn't have a good team, the best and most successful among us can't move the boundaries if they don't connect with people like them. I believe that together we will move many borders, and that is our task and our mission," said Bokan.
Bokan also thanked Mayor Olivera Injac, "for her understanding and determination to provide selfless support to our Buducnost, as well as her deputies Danilo Šaranović and Luka Rakčević."

"Due to the dedicated attitude and commitment of everyone who participates in the work of the club, exceptional results have been achieved in recent years that serve to honor us all. I am convinced that there are many more challenges ahead of you that you will overcome and that will teach you that victory is not only a result but the whole journey which makes us wiser, better and stronger. I believe you will know how to appreciate every day of that journey. I must also emphasize that I am looking forward to meeting some new stars of the future tonight, guys who tomorrow will be heroes of the city and the best sports role models of our youth. "I am also looking forward to the fact that we will host the Super Cup in Podgorica, host teams from the region and gather true basketball lovers. We will cheer for the final, believing that these boys have the potential to outplay anyone," Injac said.
