The guy born in 2000 came to the academy of Chole as a 16-year-old, and he played for the first team from 2020 to 2022.
Last summer, he signed a four-year contract with the "princes", for which he played eight matches in the Euroleague, and 35 in the French Pro A League and was part of the team that won the historic championship title.
He averaged 4,4 points and 2,7 rebounds in the elite European competition, and 7,5 points and 3,6 rebounds in the national championship.
Recently, however, he parted ways with Monaco, where there is huge competition, and his new destination will be Podgorica.
Makundu was in the preparations of the French national team for Mundobasket this summer, when he arrived as a substitute until Matias Lessor recovers.
