The basketball players of Chicago lost last night against Toronto (106:102) in the preparatory match, and the Montenegrin representative Nikola Vucevic played an excellent game.
In 28 minutes on the court, Vucevic had a double-double performance - 20 points (8/13 from the field) and 10 rebounds.
In the first half, no team had more than a four-point advantage, and in the third quarter, Toronto twice had plus eight points (70:62 and 74:66). This was followed by a mini-series by the Bulls, who came close to 74:72, and then at the end of that period they took the lead - 77:76.
Chicago opened the last quarter with four tied points, leading 81:76, but the Raptors went on a 7:0 run, leading 83:81, and then again had a maximum eight-point advantage - 93:85.
The most effective for Chicago was Lavin with 25 points. DeRozan scored 15, White scored 11, and Williams scored 10.
At Toronto, Siakam and Barnes each scored 22 points.
Chicago lost for the third time in the preseason and will play Minnesota on Thursday.
