Budućnost Bemax basketball players beat Bulgarian Montana 88:79 in Podgorica in the sixth round of Group B of the WABA league.
Buducnost, which also won the first match between them 82:59, registered its sixth triumph and maintained its maximum performance.
Montana snapped a four-game winning streak.
The Bulgarian representative started the match in Podgorica well, he had an 11-point advantage during the second quarter (32:21), but the host reduced it to 34:33 before the big break.
After the break, Buducnost completely took control of the game and at the beginning of the last period gained 15 extra points (73:58).
Montana did not give up and reduced the lead to 83:79 less than two minutes before the end.
With the points of Dragana Domuzin and Maja Bigović, all dilemmas about the final winner were removed.
Buducnost was led to victory by Zorana Radonjić with 24 and Dragana Domutun with 23, while Anastasija Drobnjak finished the match with 15 points.
In the visiting team, Katherine Briggs was the best with 29 points, while Edison Richards added 24 points.
