The brilliant Howard led Ivanović's Baskonia, the victories of Partizan, Panathinaikos and Barca

Baskonia won for the fourth time in the Euroleague since Montenegrin coach Duško Ivanović sat on the bench.

The team from Vitoria has now justified its role as the favorite - it was better than Asvel in Villerban in a match in which it lost for more than 20 minutes (88:81).

Asvel had plus 16 in the second quarter, and 12 in the third, but there was enough time for the guests to get back into the match, turn around and triumph.

Marcus Howard excelled in the Baskonia team with 35 points (three-pointers 13-8), Chima Moneke scored 19, with 13 rebounds and six assists.

Baskonia thus registered its fifth triumph, and Asvel experienced its seventh defeat...

Partizan struggled for almost 25 minutes with Alba in Belgrade, but in the end it reached a safe victory, the fourth overall in the season - it was 89:74, with 20 points from Aleksa Avramović.

An excellent last quarter - won by 28:13 - allowed Panathinaikos to defeat Virtus in Athens (90:76), while Barcelona was better than Valencia (74:70) in an uncertain Spanish derby.

The four-game losing streak was ended by Žalgiris and defeated Bayern in Kaunas (74:73), and Keenan Evans' basket nine seconds before the end decided the game.
