The second round of the First Montenegrin Basketball League has ended, and after two matches Podgorica, Sutjeska and Teodo have the maximum performance.
Tonight, Podgorica beat Lovćen at home in the round derby - 85:78.
A rather interesting match was played in the "Bemax Arena" - the teams alternated in the lead, and five minutes before the end it was 74:68 for Lovćen. Then followed the series of Podgorica 10:0 (78:74) and Dragan Radović's team did not let go of the advantage until the end.
Brendon Slaj led Podgorica to victory with 19 points. Filip Andušić had 13 points and 12 rebounds.
In the Lovcen team, Alija Islamović had 16 points, and Mašan Vrbica had 15 points and six assists.
In the second match of today's program, Millennium defeated Jedinstvo 97:87 at home.
Petar Ivanović and Miloš Popović shone in the Millennium team. Ivanovic had 26 points and nine rebounds, and Popovic had 20 points, 12 rebounds and seven assists.
Eman Šertović was the most effective for Jedinstvo with 30 points.
Sutjeska beat Dečić 91:79 in Golubovci on Saturday.
At the beginning of the second quarter, Dečić led by 10 points (29:19), and then Nikšić's team turned around by the time they went to rest, so after 20 minutes it was 48:43 for the team led by Miloš Minic.
Sutjeska broke the game in the fourth quarter when it made a 10:0 run and went to 85:66.
The most effective for Sutjeska was Marko Lukić with 20 points and seven rebounds. Radosav Spasojević added 17, with nine rebounds, while Filip Barović finished the game with 14 points and six rebounds.
In Dečić's team, Marko Koljević was the most effective with 22 points. Bogdan Cebalović had 18 points and six rebounds.
Teodo defeated Ibar in Rozaje 77:58. Dušan Dubljević's team solved the question of the winner in the first half when they had a 21-point advantage - (48:27).
Filip Bakić was the most efficient player in the winning team with 18 points. Bogdan Rutešić had 15, and Andrija Vučurović and Uroš Ilić each had 14.
In the home team, Armin Kalić had 18 points and 10 rebounds.
Primorje was better away from Pljevlja - 109:65.
In the team from Herceg Novi, Petar Dragović was the most effective with 24 points and 13 rebounds. Vladimir Vranić scored 21, and Slobodan Miljanić scored 19.
In Pljevlja, Marko Vesković was the most effective with 15 points.
SC Derbi was free in the first round, and in the second it was convincing against Danilovgrad - 99:79.
The most effective among the "students" was Zoran Vučeljić with 29 points. David Mirkovic had 26 points and 15 rebounds.
Vasilije Jovović was the best in the Danilovgrad team with 26 points. He was followed by Dušan Vasiljević with 17 points.
Kotor was free in this round.
