After Subotica and Zlatibor, the ABA 2 "balloon" moved to Široki Brijeg - the third tournament of the second highest quality regional league started yesterday, and today one of the two Montenegrin representatives will be on the floor.
Sutjeska basketball players, after 2-3 from the matches in Serbia, in Bosnia and Herzegovina against TFT (today, 18 p.m.) and Zlatibor (Thursday, 15 p.m.) want to move towards the upper part of the table.
"We are obliged to correct the impression from the previous 'bubble', where we played two very bad games," said Nikšić's coach Miloš Minic, who succeeded Dragan Nikolić on Sutjeska's bench.
However...
"We have two tough games against quality opponents, and at this moment we are not in a situation to threaten anyone, because we have huge problems with injured players," added Minic.
He emphasized that he is not looking for excuses...
"And it's not an alibi story, but our main players are not training - Vladimir Tomašević is absent for two months, Bogdan Bojić, who was injured in the last 'balloon', has not yet started training, the first playmaker Daquan Bracy has been without training for two weeks , and Pavle Đurišić was out of the field for a while due to illness," pointed out coach Sutjeska, who in the first three matches on the bench of the Nikšić club recorded the same number of victories in the First Montenegrin League.
He says about rivals in the "Pecara" hall...
"The first match is against the team from North Macedonia, which this season plays a much more serious role both in the domestic championship and in the NLB ABA2 league. They have six foreigners, who are very good individuals. The second match is against Zlatibor, which is currently the absolute favorite and one of the contenders for the highest ranking," Minic concluded.
Our second representative in the Second ABA League, Podgorica, will play the 6th round match tomorrow (15:XNUMX p.m.) against MZT, while a duel with Vojvodina is expected on Friday.
