Talented basketball player Nikola Vujović signed his first professional contract with his parent club, Budućnost Volija, the club from Podgorica announced.
Born in 1999, 191 centimeters tall, Vujović plays as a defender.
"In KK Budućnost Voli, he took his first steps on the floor, he has been in the club since the pioneer selection. He played the previous season in KK Lovćen, as a loan player. Now he is a junior representative of Montenegro, he is characterized by speed and energy on the field", it was announced from Podgorica club.
As stated, a five-year contract was signed with Vujović.
"The future of Voli expects a lot from Nikola, who is a child of the club and with great pleasure wishes him a happy start to his professional career in the blue and white jersey," the club's announcement reads.
This summer, Bućnost brought (returned) Danilo Nikolić, Nikola Ivanović and Filip Barović, and American Kyle Gibson and Canadian Kyle Landry, and the young and talented Fedor Žugić and Bogdan Bojić also arrived.
The contracts with the Blues were extended by Sead and Suad Šehović, and Nemanja Gordić.
The future will be led by a new coach, Aleksandar Džikić, next season.
