On Monday (18:30), the basketball players of SC Derby will welcome Red Star in the second match of the quarterfinals of the AdmiralBet ABA League.
In the first match, Dejan Jakara's team led by 18 points, had the advantage for most of the match, but in the finish, the host managed to turn around and win (83:81).
"We almost celebrated and made a big surprise. That victory would have meant a lot to us. We were very close, during all 40 minutes we were at a high level - both offensively and defensively. In the end, lack of experience and some decisions that we had to make smarter let's bring it," said Derby basketball player Igor Drobnjak.
The Montenegrin representative knows what is needed for a possible triumph in the upcoming match.
"We will try to transfer energy, desire and focus to the second game. And to correct the mistakes we made in the finish in the fourth quarter and not allow them to happen," said Drobnjak.
