The Denver basketball players beat the Los Angeles Lakers with a total of 4:1 in the first round of the NBA Western Conference playoffs, as they won 108:106 this morning at home.
The victory for the current champions was brought by Jamal Murray with points with 3,6 seconds left. Previously, LeBron James tied the score at 26:106 with 106 seconds left from the free throw line, after which Murray brought victory to his team.
Murray finished the game with 32 points, while Michael Porter added 26.
Serbian center Nikola Jokic had an unprecedented seven turnovers, but fell just short of recording his 19th triple-double in the playoffs as he had 25 points, 20 rebounds and nine assists.
Among the Lakers, James was the best with 30 points and 11 assists, Austin Reeves added 19 points, and Anthony Davis had 17 points and 15 rebounds.
Denver will play Minnesota in the next round of the playoffs.
The Oklahoma basketball players beat New Orleans 97:89 in their away game and with a maximum 4:0 in wins, they qualified for the semi-finals of the Western Conference playoffs.
Oklahoma was led to victory by Shai Gilges-Alexander and Jalen Williams with 24 points each, while the best players in New Orleans were Jonas Valanciunas with 19 points and 13 rebounds and C.J. McCollum, who added one more point.
In the next round of the playoffs, the Oklahoma team will play the winner of the series between the Los Angeles Clippers and Dallas, where the score is currently 2:2.
Boston reached 3:1 and is one step away from qualifying for the second round of the playoffs in the East after defeating Miami 102:88 away from home.
Derrick White led Boston to victory with 38 points, Jayson Tatum added 20 points with 11 rebounds, while Jaylen Brown contributed to the victory with 17 points.
In the Miami team, Bem Adebayo was the best with 25 points and 17 rebounds, Tyler Hiro scored 19, while Serbian basketball player Nikola Jović scored three points and three rebounds in 16 minutes on the court.
