The semifinal match of the First Montenegrin Basketball League between Sutjeska and Budućnost Volija in Nikšić was interrupted a little less than six and a half minutes before the end of the first half.
Then the fans of the visiting "Barbarians" entered the field through the official entrance, which was open, and began to provoke the home fans, with whom they entered into a conflict.
This was followed by the reaction of the "Duke" and the throwing of chairs, and then the police intervened and threw the "Barbarians" out of the hall.
The referees stopped the match, the first plan was to continue in front of empty stands, but that option was quickly dropped, because Sutjeska objected to continuing the match without the support of the audience.
The duel will not be finished today, and Budućnost was leading 36:26 at the time of the break.
Fans from Podgorica, as unofficially heard, arrived unannounced in private cars.
