Dallas basketball players took the lead against Minnesota in the finals of the Western Conference playoffs in the NBA League, as they won 108:105 tonight in the first game on the away court.
Dallas was led by Luka Doncic with 33 points, 15 of which he scored in the fourth quarter, and he had another eight points, six rebounds and three steals.
At the beginning of the fourth quarter, he scored seven consecutive points in 63 seconds as part of a 13:0 run, after which Dallas led 97:89.
Minnesota came back to take a 102-98 lead with three minutes and 37 seconds left, then Dallas went on an 8-0 run to get its first playoff win under coach Jason Kidd.
Kyri Irving contributed to the victory with 30 points, 24 of which he scored in the first half, and he also had five rebounds and four assists. PJ Washington added 13 points and seven rebounds, and Daniel Gafford added 10 points and nine rebounds.
In the Minnesota team, Jaden McDaniels scored 24 points, and Anthony Edwards scored 19 points with 11 rebounds and eight assists. Karl Anthony Towns added 16 points and seven rebounds on 6/20 shooting, Naz Reed 15 points, and Rudy Gober 12 points and seven rebounds.
The second game will be played on the night between Friday and Saturday, and Minnesota will be the host again.
