The Dallas basketball players dropped to 1:3 against Boston in the finals of the NBA League, as they won 122:84 on their court this morning.
Dallas was led by Luka Doncic with 29 points, 25 of which he scored in the first half, and he also had five rebounds, five assists and three steals. Kyrie Irving added 21 points and six assists, Derek Lively added 11 points and 12 rebounds, and Dante Exum added 10 points.
Dallas led from the beginning, after the first quarter it had 13 points, at halftime 26 points, and in the fourth part 48 points ahead. After the third period, reserve players entered the field for both teams.
In the Boston team, Jason Tatum was the most effective with 15 points with five rebounds, Sam Hauser scored 14 points, Peyton Pritchard 11 points, and Jaylen Brown and Jrue Holiday each had 10 points.
The Celtics had their 10-game playoff streak snapped and suffered their heaviest loss in the NBA Finals. Previously, they experienced the heaviest defeat in 1984 against the Los Angeles Lakers 104:137.
Dallas' 38-point victory is the third largest victory in a single NBA Finals game, behind Chicago's 96:54 victory over Utah (1998) and Boston's 131:92 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers (2008).
"It's simple. We don't have to complicate it. This is not an operation. Our group was ready to celebrate and we showed attitude. We were desperate. We have to keep playing like this. They are trying to close the final. The hardest thing in this league is to 'close door' when you have a group with nothing to lose. You've seen that now," Dallas coach Jason Kidd said.
Boston needs one more win for the title, and the fifth game, in which they will host, will be played on the night between Monday and Tuesday.
No team in NBA history has ever managed to win a playoff series after trailing 0:3.
