The men's junior basketball team of Montenegro gathered today in Podgorica, officially starting preparations for the B European Championship, which will be held in Skopje from July 26 to August 4.

Selector Marko Sekulić invited 18 players, and the junior national team will complete their preparations in Bijelo Polje.

I believe that through those six games we will do everything we planned, and on July 24 we will leave for Skopje," explained coach Sekulić.

Montenegro is in group A, where there are also Romania, Slovakia, Bulgaria and the Netherlands, and the "reds" will play their first match on July 26 against Bulgaria.

"We are aware that a demanding championship awaits us, where every match is extremely important. It will be difficult, but our desire is to try to fight for the A division. We will see if we succeed, but we will certainly try to fight for the elite rank ", Sekulić added.

Sekulić's coaching staff includes coaches Nikola Žižić and Lazar Mašanović, conditioning coach Miloš Drakulović and physiotherapist Bato Petrić.
