Basketball players from Brazil are the winners of the Olympic qualification tournament in Riga.
Today, in the final match, Brazil convincingly defeated the host of the tournament, Latvia 94:69, and qualified for the Olympic Games.
Aleksandar Petrović's team led from the start of the game - Brazil took an 8:0 lead at the start and already in the first quarter reached a convincing advantage (34:11), which was enough for a peaceful continuation of the game.
Brazil shot excellently for three points in the first quarter, hitting all eight three-pointers, and the great first quarter was crowned by Bruno Caboclo, who scored in the last second from his own half.
Latvia did not manage to threaten the rival until the end.
The coach of Brazil, Aleksandar Petrović, has reason to worry after this match, because Jago dos Santos was injured in the first half and did not play again.
