Great interest was caused by his presence in Stožice, but the 33-year-old Baranin denied reports that he was retiring after four more years of playing.
"I was misunderstood, I said to me that I would be happy to play two more years of my contract with Chicago and then another two years after that, but I didn't, I said that I would retire then. I will simply think after that period. I was not exclusive, but they wrote that I want to play for four more years, and that's it," Vučević told "Clutch Points" and added:
"They asked me about the end of my career, and they just misunderstood me."
