Groups A and B of the NLB Second ABA League have already told their first stories in the new season, and Tuesday and Wednesday are reserved for the C and D groups and the start of Podgorica Bemax basketball players.
The club from the capital is entering new adventures with a never-younger team, the average team is only 20 years old, and the youth of this team could be shown already in the first game - against Joker.
Podgorica will welcome the club from Sombor on Wednesday at 21:XNUMX, and it is ironic that Joker confirmed his participation just a few days ago, after the Vršac team withdrew from the competition.
"For sure, all of that disrupted our plans, because we were following the Vršac team, we prepared a lot for it, after certain scouting and analysis. And only a few days before the game, we found out that we were not playing with them, but Joker entered the competition." Podgorica winger Pavle Đurišić told the club's website.
However...
"We have certain information, we know that it is a team that is very well selected and that will certainly have serious ambitions. Therefore, an extremely difficult job awaits us at the premiere," Đurišić added.
The "balloons" of ABA 2 are a thing of the past, so this season four groups with four teams each were introduced, and the two best teams from each group form the Top 8 phase.
"The positive thing is that we will finally play the regular part of the competition in front of our audience and that motivates us even more. I hope that we will leave a good impression at the premiere on Wednesday evening with good support from the stands," concluded Đurišić.
