Buducnost Bemaksa basketball players will play tomorrow in Belgrade with Partizan at the start of the new season of the WABA League.
The Montenegrin champion enters the new season with several changes - young expert Petar Stojanović took over the helm of the team, while certain changes were made in the playing staff as well.
Bosnia and Herzegovina international Dragana Domuzin and Montenegrin representative Lana Vukčević left the team, while Ksenija Šćepanović will miss the season due to an anterior cruciate ligament injury.
Janja Dragišić joined the first team, and the team was strengthened by Americans Teri Briggs and Tija Singleton.
Coach Petar Stojanović said he was satisfied with how the preparations went.
"The girls worked hard, they were dedicated and I am sure that we are ready to welcome the start of the league," said Stojanović.
Speaking about the rival at the start of the regional championship, he said that he expects an unpleasant visit at the start.
"Partizan was one step away from the final four last season, and now it has even bigger ambitions. However, we know what awaits us there," said Stojanović.
He pointed out that they have a crystal clear picture of their rival.
"We know that we will have to have a maximum approach for 40 minutes. We have to be focused and play our game, which we imposed during the preparations. We are all looking forward to the start of the season, the league will be quite strong, Beroe is back, there are also the best Croatian clubs , so a really interesting and uncertain league is expected," concluded Stojanović.
The match in the "Ranko Žeravica" hall will start at 15:30 p.m.
