After two rounds of the AdmiralBet ABA League, the basketball players of SC Derbi and Zadar have a win and a loss each, and tomorrow (19) they will play a match in the third round of the regional competition in "Morača".
The Croatian champion comes to Podgorica after losing in the previous round at home against Igokea. Danijel Jusup's team has never defeated the SC Derby in Podgorica.
"We saw the SC Derby match with Cibona, there were things they did well, and there were also bad ones. In the first round, they beat Spartak and were quite good, especially in the end, while against Cibona we didn't see their true image. They have a good, young team... They depend on playmaker Nilo, but there are Drobnjak, Nikolić, Bogavac who are looking for affirmation... A combination of youth and experience that gives quality. They feel comfortable at home, they have more confidence and we have to be smart against them. It's the beginning of the season, we're still getting used to it, but we trained well and I think it will be interesting in Podgorica," said Zadar coach Danijel Jusup.
After the match with the "students", Zadar will play three games in a row at home, but these will be matches against Budućnost Voli, Partizan and Crvena zvezda.
"We have a challenging away game in Podgorica, after which we have three demanding games at home. The schedule is not very great, but we don't have any great imperative. We have to keep calm, try to give our best and go from game to game," said Zadar basketball player Lovro Mazalin.
