The competition in the NLB ABA2 league continues, this week the 2nd round matches in groups A and B are scheduled, and the Teoda basketball players tomorrow (20) visit Helios in Domžale.
At the start of the regional competition, the team from Tiv lost to MZT in Skopje, but the previous Friday in the First Montenegrin League they defeated Lovćen and made a nice prelude to the match in Domžale.
"We had a lot of time and materials to prepare the match with Helios. As for Helios, it is a serious team that has been at the very top of the NLB ABA 2 league for years, and they were close to entering the AdmiralBet ABA league. Their quality is supported by the victory against Cedevita Junior in Zagreb. This is the second difficult away game for us at the start of the league, so we will try to present ourselves in the best possible light, and if we get a chance, to get a good result," said the coach of Teoda, Dušan Dubljević.
Nemanja Vranješ arrived in Teodo from Mornar at the beginning of September.
"First of all, we expect a very physically demanding game, in which we have to be maximally concentrated and focused for the entire 40 minutes. "Helios opened the season very well, they are playing very well, but I am sure that we will make a reaction after the defeat against MZT and try to record our first victory," said Vranješ.
In the first round of the NLB ABA2 league, Helios defeated Cedevita Junior in Zagreb (87:79).
"We have a newcomer in the league coming to visit us, who wants to prove himself. They are an experienced team, they have players who have played before in this competition, but also in the AdmiralBet ABA League. Also, they have strengthened the team and the foreigners. We will fight and give everything of ourselves to win at home," said the coach of Helios, Jure Močnik.
