Basketball players from Sutjeska were defeated tonight by Bosnia in Sarajevo (78:74) in the match of the second round of the NLB ABA2 league.
It was the first defeat for Nikšić in the regional competition, while the team led by Zoran Kašćelan achieved its first victory.
At the start, Sutjeska had a five-point advantage (7:2), and in the middle of that period, plus three points (17:14). It turned out to be the last lead of Dragan Bajić's team - Bosnia made a 10:0 run, led 24:17, and in the second quarter had a maximum advantage of 15 points - 38:23.
During the third quarter, the people of Nikšić came close to minus four, but in the last quarter, Bosnia regained a double-digit advantage (65:55).
It was exciting in the last minute, since Sutjeska came to minus two (73:71) after Starovlah's point, and to a point behind (75:74) after Webster's three-pointer. However, in the next attack, Bosnia was accurate for three points through Lutete, took the lead 78:74 and reached the triumph.
Starovlah was the most effective at Sutjeska with 16 points. On the other side, Underwood also scored 16 points.
