Stanišić: We lacked aggressiveness, the Euroleague knew how to take advantage of that

SC Derby's basketball players convincingly lost to Partizan in the 4th round of the AdmiralBet ABA League - it was 80:60, and the coaching staff of the Podgorica team regretted after the match that the aggressiveness was not at the level it should be.

Borivoje Stanišić, the first associate of Petar Mijović who was sent off at the beginning of the third quarter, congratulated the Euroleague team on their triumph.

"Partizan deservedly celebrated. They imposed a rhythm from the start, and we didn't manage. We weren't aggressive enough, so we committed only six fouls in the first half. We were indolent in the first 20 minutes," Stanišić said.

SC Derby approached the second half of the third period to 56:50, but Partizan repelled the surge.

"We tried to continue, but the Euroleague quality that Partizan has is recognized. They didn't allow us to run away. I repeat, we lacked aggressiveness and the right approach - that's what graced us in the previous matches," Stanišić added.
