Zaragoza basketball players registered their second victory in the Endesa League - the team for which the Montenegrin representative, Bojan Dubljević plays, defeated Huventud 96:95 (85:85 in the regular part) at home after overtime.
Zaragoza achieved both triumphs in the domestic championship after extra time (beat Lleida in the first round), and suffered a defeat in the previous round, against Real Madrid.
In the second quarter, Zaragoza made a 7:0 run and took a 34:27 lead, and at the end of the first part, after five tied points, they had a plus 13 - 44:31.
Zaragoza had a maximum lead of 14 points at seven minutes and 42 seconds until the end of the third quarter, when the former player of Buducnost Volija - Tre Bell-Haines scored three points. That's when Juventud started to come back, by the end of the third quarter they were down to minus four (63:59), and in the fourth they took the lead (71:69).
With 55 seconds left in the match, Ante Tomić was accurate for two points and Huventud led 85:78. But that's when the home team's series started - first Bel-Haynes scored four points, and then Sulejmanović hit a three-pointer and took the match into overtime.
Even in the extra five minutes it was interesting, and Bel-Haines became the hero, who scored the winning basket with seven seconds left in overtime.
After that, Huventud had an attack to win, but Tomić was imprecise.
Montenegrin representative, Bojan Dubljević finished the match with 13 points and three rebounds and assists. Bel-Haynes scored 27 points, and Sulejmanović scored 23 points.
At Huventud, Robertson was the most effective with 24 points.
