Podgorica Bemaks basketball players defeated the Pelister team 90:79 tonight in front of their fans, in the second round of the NLB ABA second league.
It is the first triumph in the regional competition, after the initial defeat against Joker 79:76.
The team from North Macedonia led for 35 minutes, and at eight and a half minutes before the end, it had an advantage of seven points (75:68).
The finish itself belonged to the home team, which, led by the insufficiently recovered Joshua Scott, managed to pull off a turnaround and achieve victory.
In the last eight minutes, Pellister was without a field goal (Evdards scored only one throw), and the incredible 21:5 series was concluded by Scott for 89:76 at 42 seconds before time expired...
In the Podgorica team, Balša Zivanović scored 24, Smith added 18, and Emeka Alex Adetokunbo scored 13 points.
Pavle Đurišić was also in double figures with 11 points.
