Teoda basketball players continue their competition in the NLB ABA2 league, and tonight, in the 4th round of Group A, they will play against Cedevita Junior in Zagreb.
Dušan Dubljević's team is without a win in the regional competition, and tonight they must achieve a triumph if they want to keep any chance of qualifying for the next stage.
The team from Tiv played their last competitive match the previous Monday, when they made up for an 18-point deficit in Nikšić and defeated Sutjeska in the First Montenegrin Basketball League.
"For sure, Cedevita Junior is the favorite, and this is shown above all by our mutual match that we played 15 days ago in Herceg Novi. "After a good game and victory in Nikšić against Sutjeska and some time we had to strengthen our training, we will try to play a good and competitive game, and if we have a chance to win, we will take advantage of it," Dubljević said.
In the previous round, Teodo lost to tonight's rival, and the third quarter decided.
"After the victory in Nikšić in the domestic league, we are going to another away game. A very important game for us, since the victory still leaves us with some chance to hope to fight for the next round. A physically demanding match awaits us, for which we had time to thoroughly prepare. I hope that we will repeat the game from the first half of the last game, but only this time we will last all 40 minutes", said the basketball player from Tivća, Uroš Ilić.
On the other hand, Cedevita Junior would take a big step towards placing in the next phase with a possible victory. Last night, in the second match of this group, Helios defeated MZT (68:67) and secured the top eight.
"Unfortunately, we didn't have much time to prepare for the game, but to be honest, we didn't spend too much against Dinamo, so I expect freshness and great energy, as was the case in the second half in Herceg Novi, especially in the third quarter. That it will be easy - no. We did an analysis of the game in Tivat, refreshed our scouting regarding their defense and attack, and I am convinced that we will win with a good game in defense, which will open up easy points for us through counterattacks it won't be easy for us on five," said the coach of the Zagreb team, Dino Repeša.
