Basketball players from Sutjeska were convincingly defeated tonight in Novi Sad by Vojvodina (105:84) in the match of the fourth round of the NLB ABA2 league.
Vojvodina made up for the loss from Nikšić tonight, when they lost by 17 points (96:79), so after this game the score is 3-1, while Dragan Bajić's team is 2-2.
Sutjeska led on several occasions during the first quarter, and the last time in the second when Austin Luk hit a three-pointer for 37:36.
After that, Vojvodina went to plus seven (50:43), had plus four at halftime (53:49), and the first double digit advantage in the third quarter when it was 60:50.
Last year's finalist of the NLB ABA2 league controlled the game, the advantage grew, and at one point there was a big plus 25 - 103:78.
Filip Barović was the most effective at Sutjeska with 16 points and seven rebounds. Webster (15), Spasojević (13), Starovlah (12) and Luk (11, with nine assists) were also in double figures.
With Vojvodina, Smith was the most effective with 23 points. Banjac finished the match with 18, Rebrača with 16, Asćerić with 13, Johnson with 11 points.
