Dragan Bokan, president of the Budućnost Voli basketball club, confirmed that the Capital blocked the club's account in the amount of 178.830 euros.
"It's an understatement to say that I was taken aback," Bokan told "Vijesti".
"The club is the property of the Capital City, and as is known, the agreement is that half of the club's budget is provided by the Capital City and the state. That agreement, however, was not honored either last year or this year. Certainly, if the state and the city had fulfilled their obligations, the debt would not have arisen. Unlike them, the Voli company, along with the companies whose representatives are on the Board of Directors of KK Budućnost Voli, fulfilled everything in its entirety", stressed Bokan.
Bokan said that he scheduled a meeting of the club's Board of Directors for Tuesday.
"Then we will make further decisions and announce a common position on them," said Bokan.
