The Montenegrin basketball team ranks 16th in the ranking of the World Basketball Federation (FIBA), which is one position better than the previous month.
Boško Radović's team progressed in the world rankings thanks to two victories over Bulgaria in the November qualification cycle for the European Championship.
There were no changes among the top 10. The first place is kept by the United States of America, Serbia is second, while the third is the official world champion and the next rival of Montenegro in the Eurobasket qualifiers, Germany.
Among the top 10 are also France, Canada, Spain, Australia, Argentina, Latvia and Lithuania.
