Buducnost Volija coach Andrej Žakelj had no reason to be dissatisfied - his team played a phenomenal match and outclassed Wolves (104:77) in the ninth round of the Eurocup.
There was no dilemma in "Morača", Buducnost had complete control.
"We showed a reaction after not so good games before the national team break. This is a guide to how we should play. We were focused, controlled the rebound, played as a team... Wolves are a good team, but we were better. And we have to stay firmly on the ground and this can be motivation before a difficult schedule", said Žakelj.
Kenan Kamenjaš played injured in the jersey of Bosnia and Herzegovina, tonight he had a double-double performance with 12 points and rebounds.
"Kamenjaš is OK, I don't even ask him how he is. "He often played beyond the pain limit," the Slovenian added.
Future had real energy.
"I'm often hard on the players when I'm looking for concentration and energy, so that it's on a level - whether it's equal or plus 20. That's the only way to play professional basketball." It wasn't like that in the past matches, but in this one, everyone deserves nothing but congratulations," said Žakelj.
