SC Derby basketball players were defeated in Laktaši in the 10th round of the AdmiralBet ABA League by the home team Igokea - 105:97 (31:24, 17:14, 30:26, 27:33).
It is only the second time for the "students" in the competition so far that they have tied two defeats, only this time the failures were on the visiting floor. Petar Mijović's team recorded their sixth defeat, with four wins, while Igokea celebrated its sixth triumph.
"Students" lost the game with a 9:0 run by their rivals in the second quarter with a score of 34:34. They tried with a great fight and commitment to get closer to only six points behind in the last quarter, but then the home team connected three successful attacks and defended the victory.
Brice Jones shone in the winning team with as many as 31 points and nine assists, Dragan Milosavljević scored 14 points, and Carter and Gavrilović had one less point each.
Eric Neal was the best in the "students" jersey with 18 points and seven assists, Luka Bogavac added 15, and Nikolić and Pavlićević had a double-digit scoring performance with 11 each, and Grboović, Hadžibegović and Mirković with 10 points each.
