The competition in the NLB ABA2 league continues, and the Sutjeska basketball players will play against Rabotnička tomorrow (20) in Nikšić.
In the current part of the regional competition, Sutjeska has a score of 2-2, and is in the running for placement in the next phase, while the team from Skopje is still winless, so it has lost its chances for the top eight. The group also includes Bosnia and Vojvodina, which have a score of 3-1, and which will play in Sarajevo on Wednesday.
"I think this game is the most important for us right now, if we want to stay in the race for the next stage. Rabotnički has lost all chances for further placement and that can be a double-edged sword. They come relieved, without pressure," said Sutjeska's coach, Dragan Bajić.
Bajić points out that approach and aggressiveness in the game are the most important.
"We have to enter the game tactically mature, to complete all the tasks we set before us in the best way, to be aggressive. If there is such an approach, then I hope for a positive result. I also hope for great support from the audience, that they will come in large numbers and that they will be of great help to us," said Bajić.
Rabotnički comes to Nikšić after the victory over Pelister (84:70) in the championship of North Macedonia, where the score is 6-2. Sutjeska has an identical score in the First Montenegrin League, where on Thursday it was better than Kotor (90:77).
"We are maximally focused. We are in a good rhythm, because in the First Montenegrin League we achieved three victories in a row with a convincing margin. Rabotnički played a domestic championship match last night, which should be taken advantage of, because that is also an important factor. I hope that with the help of the audience, we will make a good prelude for the match with Bosnia in the last round", said Nikšić's basketball player, Andrej Vulević.
When it comes to other Montenegrin representatives, Podgorica will host Džoker tomorrow (18) in Sombor, while Teodo will play against MZT in Tivat on Wednesday (20).
