Podgorica Bemax basketball players traveled to Sombor with the intention of "erasing" the home defeat against Široki, but they were far from the chance to achieve that in the 5th round of the NLB ABA2 league.
Boško Radović's team convincingly lost to Džoker (81:62), so now they have two wins and three losses in group C of the regional competition.
The home team already had a 15-point advantage in the first quarter, in the second it was plus 31, and the Podgorica team at least mitigated the defeat in the rest - they could not, however, threaten Joker's fifth triumph.
In the Podgorica team, Anthony Smith was the most effective with 14 points, Joshua Scott scored one less. On the other side, Veljko Brkić (23) was the best.
Podgorica is still second in the table, in the place leading to the Top 8, but Široki can take over that position tomorrow if it defeats Pelister.
Široki is better in the mutual score than our representative.
And Sutjeska justified the role of favorite against Rabotnički and recorded the third victory - it was 94:75.
