The basketball player of Hapoel Tel Aviv, Patrik Beverli, will be out of action for about six weeks, Eurohoops reports.
Beverley was injured last night in the match with Maccabi in the Israeli championship. Maccabi won that match in their favor - 97:79.
The American basketball player injured his quadriceps. He immediately went for an MRI, after which it was determined that the former NBA player will have to take a break, and that a new test will follow two weeks later.
Beverli averaged 12,5 points, 4,8 rebounds and 5,3 assists in the Eurocup this season.
Hapoel is in the same group as Budućnost Voli, and these two teams will play a match in Podgorica on January 15 next year. Apparently, the team from Israel will be without Beverly in that match.
