The New York basketball players won the night between Monday and Tuesday against Toronto 113:108 and achieved their fifth victory in the last six games in the NBA league.
Karl-Anthony Towns led the Knicks with 24 points, along with 15 rebounds, six assists, two steals and two blocks. He equalized 36 seconds before the end of the game, and in the next Knicks attack, he secured the victory with a three-pointer.
Michael Bridges contributed to the victory with 23 points, and Jaylen Branson with 20 points and 11 assists. O Ji Anunoba added 14 points, and Josh Hart 11. The Knicks thus defeated the Raptors for the fifth time in the last six meetings between them.
In the Toronto team, ARJ Barrett was the most effective with 30 points, eight rebounds and four assists.
Scotty Barnes scored 15 points and had five rebounds and three assists before leaving the game midway through the third quarter with a sprained right ankle.
Jakob Walter scored 19 points, 14 of them in the first half, and Jakob Peltl had 10 points, 12 rebounds and four assists.
New York is now waiting for the finals of the NBA Cup, and in the quarterfinals they will play against Atlanta, on the night between Wednesday and Thursday.
Milwaukee - Orlando, Oklahoma - Dallas and Houston - Golden State will also play in the quarterfinals.
Toronto did not advance to the finals of the NBA Cup.
