Podgorica basketball players visit Pelister tomorrow (20) in the last round of group C of the NLB ABA2 league.
After Široki was better than Džoker in the same group last night (86:60), Podgorica was left with no chance to advance to the second round of the competition. Boško Radović's team is on the verge of two wins and three losses, and in the first round they defeated Pelister in "Bemax Arena" (90:79).
"After Siroki's victory last night, the visit to Pelister has no significance for us as the passage to the next stage from our group has already been secured by Joker and Siroki. However, we want to end the season in the NLB ABA2 league with a win and play a good match. We are aware that it won't be easy, Pelister is a serious team and on its home field it is sure to have the role of favorite. There have been certain changes in the team, a very important player is out due to injury, but we will definitely try to win," said Podgorica's coach, Boško Radović.
In the continuation of the season, Podgorica will try to win a place in the NLB ABA2 league next year through the First Montenegrin League.
"This was supposed to be the most important game for us, but now the situation is different. However, we certainly go into the game with maximum focus and hope for victory", said Podgorica basketball player Balša Živanović.
