The future Voli and Dimitris Itudis again "face to face" in "Morača" a little over six years later.
In November 2018, the Podgorica club sensationally defeated Itoudis' CSKA, the future European champion, in a Euroleague match, and now they will seek victory against the Greek expert and his new team, Hapoel, for a big step towards the Eurocup playoffs.
It's time for one of the matches that could open the doors to the playoffs wide open - Buducnost will host the team from Tel Aviv tomorrow (Wednesday) at 19 p.m.
"I think Hapoel's lineup best says what kind of team we are welcoming, but these are games that you want to be a part of both as a player and as a fan. In any case, we have a game ahead of us that we have to win," said Rashid Sulaymon, Buducnost defender.
Kenan Kamenjaš had a similar message about his rival.
"We know what Hapoel's lineup is, we know that this is a team that was built for the very top of the Eurocup - there are several Euroleague players, but also those who have NBA experience," emphasized the center of the "blue and whites".
Buducnost played perhaps their worst game of the season against Hapoel in the first match (92:72 defeat), but in the meantime they have made a lot of progress, improved their form and are entering the new duel with the Israeli club with seven wins from their last eight matches.
"It's obvious that Hapoel is an explosive team, so defense will be a priority... I also think that we are a talented team, and from a good defense we can develop transition and play our shooters and centers. In that case, it's difficult for any team to defend," emphasized Sulaiman.
With four rounds remaining in the group stage, the Montenegrin team is still below the playoff line, but with a realistic chance of reaching the Eurocup playoffs.
"It will be another important game and we will certainly show energy and desire again, because we know that only with a win will we have an even better chance of making the playoffs we want," Kamenjaš emphasized.

In addition to Itudis, Hapoel has also strengthened its squad with Yam Madar, Antonio Blaney, and Marcus Bingham compared to the first match against Buducnost, and with "old" stars like Jonathan Motley or Patrick Beverley, it is clear what kind of team is arriving at "Morača".
"A good opponent is coming and I don't think a better call is needed, but as always I will say - everyone in 'Morač' and let's feel the roar from the stands again," emphasized Kamenjaš.
Solomon had a similar message.
"I hope the stadium will be full, that the fans will support us, and that we will play a good match," concluded the guard from Houston.
