Fenerbahçe's long-range shot ends Red Star's great run in the Euroleague

After four consecutive triumphs, Red Star was defeated in the Euroleague - the better team was Feerbahce, who celebrated 96:91 in the "Arena".

Without Nemanja Nedović, who was out tonight due to injury, the team from Istanbul had the advantage and Šarunas Jasikevičius's men shot for three points exceptionally.

Nicolo Melli scored 16 points, including five three-pointers in eight attempts. Nigel Hayes was the most efficient player, making 27 of 12 shots from behind the three-point line (7-4).

And Tarik Biberović scored nine of his 16 points from behind the three-point line, out of five attempts.

The best player for the Red Star team was Cody Miller McIntyre with 23 points.

Red Star is now eighth with 13 wins from 21 games, while Fenerbahce has won 13 times and lost seven.

The basketball players of Žalgiris defeated Virtus Bologna 77:68 (25:13, 16:19, 20:19, 16:17) tonight at home in Kaunas, in the 21st round of the Euroleague, ending a four-game losing streak.

The Lithuanian team was led by Silvan Fransiskos with 20 points and four rebounds and Edgaras Ulanovas with 16 points and four rebounds.

Arnas Butkevičius contributed to the victory with 11 points and five rebounds, Dovidas Gedraitis with 10 points, and Serbian basketball player Alan Smailagić with nine points and four rebounds.

For Virtus, Aizea Kordinija was the most efficient with 18 points, and also had five rebounds, three assists and three steals. Tornike Shengelija added 12 points and seven rebounds, and Matthew Morgan had eight points and six rebounds.

Zalgiris is now 11th in the standings with 11 wins and 10 losses, while Duško Ivanovic's team is 16th with six wins and 15 losses. In the next round, Zalgiris will play in Istanbul against Fenerbahçe on Friday, while Virtus will play in Munich against Bayern.

Barcelona basketball players defeated Panathinaikos 82:73 (18:21, 12:17, 29:12, 23:23) on their home court tonight.

Barcelona was led to victory by Jabari Parker with 25 points and eight rebounds, followed by Dario Brizuela with 15 and Alex Abrines with 12 points.

The best players for the guests from Athens were Jerian Grant with 18, Cedi Osman with 14, Juancho Hernangomez with 12, along with 10 rebounds, and Omer Jurceven with 11 points.

Barcelona is eighth with 12 wins and nine losses, and Panathinaikos is in fourth place with 13 wins and eight losses.

In the next round, Barcelona will host Efes, while Panathinaikos will play away to Baskonia.

Bayern's basketball players defeated Monaco 95:94 (30:13, 23:27, 25:28, 17:26) on their home court in Munich.

Bayern's best players were Carsen Edwards with 25, Devin Booker and Nick Weiler-Bab with 18 each and Shabazz Napier with 14 points.

For Monaco, the most efficient players were Mike James with 18, Jordan Lloyd with 16, Matthew Strassell with 14, Eli Okobo with 12 and Mam Zaite with 10 points.

Bayern is 10th with 12 wins and nine losses, and Monaco is in third place with 13 wins and eight losses.

Bayern will host Virtus in the next round, while Monaco will play away to Red Star.
