Partizan basketball player Karlik John was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the 22nd round of the Euroleague today.
Partizan defeated Milan 90:70 in Italy on Thursday, and Jones led the black and whites with 24 points, nine assists, three rebounds and three steals, with an index of 37 points.
Jones shot 9/11 for two points, 6/7 from the free throw line and forced six fouls. He is the first Partizan player to be named Euroleague MVP of the season.
Also, two of his teammates showed a good game against Milan. Sterling Brown scored 26 points, with seven rebounds, two assists and two steals for a 32-point index, and Tyreke Jones had a 31-point index after 22 points, seven rebounds, one assist, a steal and a block.
Red Star basketball player Filip Petrushev also had an index of 32 points, scoring 88 points and grabbing six rebounds in an 82:29 overtime win over Monaco.
