The Chicago Bulls rejected Atlanta's offer to trade Nikola Vučević for Clint Capela.
"Two of my sources said the Hawks have asked the Bulls about trading Capela's contract - which is expiring - for Nikola Vucevic, but the Bulls have declined, due to other deals they want to make," Hardwood Paroxysm reported.
Earlier, journalist Mark Stein reported that Chicago expects to receive a first-round draft pick in exchange for Vučević.
The LA Lakers have given up on Vučević, but Golden State still wants him, but in exchange and not for the right to a first-round draft pick.
"The Montenegrin and 34-year-old Chicago center, Vučević, is averaging 20,1 points, 10,3 rebounds and 3,4 assists this season, while shooting 40,6 percent from three. The Bulls are looking for a first-round pick for him. Golden State is still among the basketball clubs most actively interested in the player, but is not ready to give up a first-round draft pick. The Warriors continue to offer a second-round draft pick. The club is in a critical situation, outside the play-in zone with a ratio of 22-23," writes Stein.
