It's not often seen in Europe either - Chicago's basketball players scored 24 points in 29 minutes of the first half. The Bulls played a disastrous game against Detroit and were ultimately defeated 132:91.
How much the "bulls" were not getting anywhere is perhaps best illustrated by the reaction of our Nikola Vučević, who ironically raised his hands in celebration after scoring 43 points at the end of the first half, while the fans from the stands of the "United Center" also gave him a standing ovation.
The first half ended with a plus 42 (71:29) for the Pistons, who thus set a new franchise record.
Chicago also managed to set a negative club record by missing its first 20 three-point attempts, and overall its players outside the line hit 7,24 of 10 shots 47, while their field goal percentage was 35 percent.
In the end, only two Bulls players scored in double figures - Matas Buzelis (12) and Josh Giddy (11), while Vučević finished the match with eight points and seven rebounds, with a 5-0 three-point shooting.
On the other side, Malik Beasley was the most efficient with 24 points, while Cade Cunningham added 20.
The night in the NBA was also marked by legend Kevin Durant - he became only the eighth player in the history of the strongest league in the world to reach 30.000 points in his career.
His big night was not followed by his teammates, so Phoenix was defeated by Memphis (119:112), and KD crossed the magic line when he scored points from the free throw line at the end of the third quarter.
Durant thus found himself in select company with LeBron James, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Karl Malone, Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordan, Dirk Nowitzki and Wilt Chamberlain, while Julius Irving scored points in both the NBA and ABA.
KD finished the game with 34 points, and Memphis was led to victory by Jha Morant with 26 points, seven rebounds and six assists.
Karl-Anthony Towns had another great game - with 40 points, 12 rebounds, and five assists, he led the New York Knicks to a 128:115 triumph over Indiana.
He was followed by Josh Hart with 30 points and 10 rebounds, while Pascal Siakam was the Pacers' most efficient player with 24 points.
