The team chosen by Shaquille O'Neal is the winner of this year's NBA All-Star Tournament, after defeating Charles Barkley's team 41:25 in the finals in San Francisco.
The traditional match between West and East was replaced by a tournament with four teams (Team Shaquille O'Neal, Team Kenny Smith, Team Charles Barkley, and the winner of the "Rising Stars" game - Team Candice). The winner of each match is the team that reaches 40 points first.
In the semi-final matches, Shaquille O'Neal's team defeated Team Candice 42:35, while Charles Barkley's team defeated Team Kenny Smith 41:32.
The All-Star Most Valuable Player (MVP) was chosen as the winning team's point guard, Golden State's Stephen Curry, who recorded 12 points (4/8 three-point shooting), four rebounds, two steals and an assist in the finals.
The most efficient player on Shaquille O'Neal's team in the final game was Boston winger Jayson Tatum with 15 points.
On Charles Barkley's team, the most efficient in the final match were two centers, San Antonio basketball player Victor Wembley with 11 points and New York player Karl-Anthony Towns with eight points, while Serbian national team player Nikola Jokić recorded two points, four rebounds and two assists in 10 minutes of play.
Shaquille O'Neal's team took an 11-0 lead during the final game, which allowed them to easily bring the match to an end.
The next All-Star Weekend will be held from February 13 to 15, 2026, at the Los Angeles Clippers' new arena in Inglewood, California.
