The Buducnost Bemaksa basketball team will play tonight in Podgorica against the Orlovi from Banja Luka in the 16th round of the WABA League.
Buducnost is undefeated in the regional competition, and the duel against the champions of Bosnia and Herzegovina will be their first match after a 20-day break due to European Championship qualifications and Cup obligations.
Coach Petar Stojanović said that he expects a good performance and a continuation of his team's positive streak.
"We know that during the season they lost two important players - Aleksandra Mužević and Dragana Domuzin, but they certainly have a certain quality, so there will be no relaxation, but we must approach the match to the fullest. We want to use this match in the best possible way, because we want to improve our form before the WABA League finals," said Stojanović.
The Eagles have won three out of 12 matches so far in the competition and are not in the running for the final tournament.
Defender Jelena Bulajić said that she respects her rival, but that the role of the favorite is on the side of Buducnost.
"We are playing in the Bemaks Arena, where we have won every derby. It is clear that we want to continue our winning streak, in order to make a good overture for the finish and the two most difficult away games in the league," said Bulajić.
The match in Bemax Arena will start at 18:XNUMX.
