Montenegrin basketball players are celebrating their fifth EuroBasket placement in history, and coach Boško Radović had a message for those who support the national team, but also for "quasi-experts".
Our team lost to Sweden in Stockholm tonight after overtime (86:83), but that defeat could not disrupt their plans, and they finished the qualifiers in second place, behind world champions Germany.
"A big deal for our country and basketball is qualifying for Eurobasket. I would like to thank the sincere and loyal fans who supported and followed us. I would also like to wave this ticket to the European Championship to these quasi-experts, they will recognize themselves - they know better than the team and the coaching staff," said Radović and added:

"This window was extremely difficult. A lot of players were missing, and some young players were given bigger roles for the first time. Against Sweden we had one playmaker, and against the Germans we had none. In the end, the most important thing is that we got through, congratulations to everyone," Radović pointed out.
Montenegro had problems.
"I would like to congratulate Sweden on their victory. The audience watched a pretty good game. We were in big trouble, we played with a strange lineup. We went from a team that has been playing together for six years and knows each other well to a team that knows each other a little less. The most important thing is that after a bad game against Germany, we played a good game, and in the end, that one goal was the deciding factor," concluded Radović.
